What's not to like. Talk about getting More bang for the buck. I'm thrilled to have this product. I couldn't quite manage the cost of a KitchenAid and thought this might work until I could save up for what she really wanted. What a total and complete disappointment. The mixer sparked and blew up 2 months after purchase. I've used Sunbeam mixers before and they were great, but they were also much older ones. If this represents the "new" generation mixers, they can keep them, don't bother opening the warehouse door. I also paid extra to have this pile of junk "giftwrapped", boy was that a joke. The "gift wrapping" consisted of shoving the beat up box into a crummy looking bag made from a nasty blue color burlap looking fabric, not even red or green. All things considered, I have to say that this was the worst service and product I've ever received from Amazon (Hey Amazon, are you hearing this? Listen up.) I felt so bad for my daughter, she was so happy to get her mixer, unfortunately, it didn't last at all. So, now we... They really don't knead anything, they just beat it. Even on the lowest setting they still move too fast to actually knead dough. I even tried folding the dough around them as it was running but there still wasn't any folding or kneading action. I ended up taking the dough out and kneading it by hand the way I used to. From the other reviews it sounds like the beaters are ok, but if you want to do other things save up for a kitchen aid. |
